Information For Authors

Are you interested in submitting to the Al-Nahrain Journal of Science? We recommend that you review the About the Journal page for the journal's section policies and the Author Guidelines. Authors must register with the journal before submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.

All submitted manuscripts will be subjected to screening for plagiarism using iThenticate: Plagiarism Detection Software. Plagiarism should not exceed 5% from a single source, and the overall score for plagiarism should not exceed 15%.   

Fees at Al-Nahrain Journal of Science are as follows: 

• No editorial processing fee is applicable.
• Article Processing Charges (APC):  250,000 IQD.
• Manuscripts that include international authors are exempted from all fees. 
• The plagiarism detection service fee:  25,000 IQD. (non-refundable: applicable irrespective of the decision on submission). 

- Upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication, the corresponding author has to fill out, sign, and re-submit a Publishing Agreement Form to the journal.
