MODULES WITH THE QUASI-PURE SUM PROPERTY

Abstract

Let R be a commutative ring with identity and M be a unitory R-module. We say that M has thequasi-pure sum property (qpsp), if the sum of any two pure submodules of M is quasi-pure. In this paper westudy modules with this property and we give a characterization of some kind of rings in terms of moduleswith the quasi-pure sum property.
