درست الظروف المثلى لتطفير بكتريا Gardnerella Vaginalis R3 المعزولة محليا بمطفرين احداهما من المطفرات المباشرة نتروسوجواندين (MNNG)
N-methyl-N-Nitro-N-Nitrosoguanidine واخر من المطفرات غير مباشرة (اسفجية فوق البنفسجية U.V) وتبين ان كلا المطفرين كانا كفؤين في تحفيز الطفرات الوراثية في هذه البكتريا.
